Il bon ton impone che il numero di damigelle non sia superiore a 8 (eccezion fatta solo per i matrimoni reali). Tra queste ci sar\u00e0 la damigella d'onore, colei che avr\u00e0 maggiori responsabilit\u00e0 rispetto alle altre. Perch\u00e8 queste fidate aiutanti della sposa dovranno supportarla fin dalle prime fasi dell'organizzazione del matrimonio. Le damigelle la precederanno di pochi minuti lungo la navata, entrando in fila indiana o in coppia, e posizionandosi alla sinistra della sposa e davanti ai testimoni (in caso non siano loro stesse).<\/p>\n<p>La damigella d'onore, oltre a reggere il bouquet della sposa (ed eventuali altri accessori) per tutta la durata della cerimonia, dovr\u00e0 aiutare la sposa in alcuni momenti cruciali della giornata (come, ad esempio, al momento di scendere e risalire in macchina).
